Damascus Airport Taxi & Transfer — 2026 Guide

Arriving at Damascus International Airport and wondering how to reach the city safely? The simplest, calmest option is to arrange your pickup before you land — a driver waits for you by name, at a fixed price agreed in advance. No meter, no haggling at the gate.

Fixed price, no surprises

With Darb Elsham the fare is fixed, not metered. You see the exact price when you book, and it covers the driver, fuel and the road — no extras on arrival. The price depends on:

• Vehicle — standard, family, or a van for larger groups and luggage.
• Your area in Damascus — one fixed price per zone, city and countryside.
• Night arrivals — a published late-night surcharge between midnight and 6am.

What's included

• Driver waiting at the arrivals gate with a sign in your name, plus luggage help.
• 90 minutes free waiting from your actual landing time, with flight tracking.
• The driver's name and vehicle number sent to you before arrival.
• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

Book before you land

You can book from anywhere — Germany, the Gulf, Turkey — in minutes: choose your area and vehicle, add your flight number, see the fixed price, and confirm. Payment is cash on arrival.

Arriving late at night?

Many flights land after midnight. That's fine when it's pre-arranged — the driver waits however late your flight is. See also our guide to a private car with driver in Damascus and private tours across Syria.
